So again I apologise its been a few weeks since I last updated and I'm happy to its good thing that have been keeping away.
As you know I qualified to be a make up artist last summer and I started working on small films to gain experience as it happens nearly a year later I am still working as a make up artist for more productions company's and also gaining more experience working on student films. I absolutely love my job I have met someone wonderful people and last weekend got to work with my first horse :) do not worry I did not apply make up to the horse.
As well as working in make up after a few months of my aunties passing I decided to apply to the hospice that she stayed with to do voluntary work I went for my interview last week and started my first shift today I did write a post how wound full the Bolton hospice where but there is never a way you can thank anyone enough for what they do at the hospice so volunteering seemed the best way and maybe I can pass that on to some one else. I get name badge I know how mundane that may seem but it's nice to work with people on a regular basis have a name badge :) I do love meeting new people on sets but its nice to have something familiar.
And of course no hiatus would be complete without me going gallivanting to a snooker match :) yes I have already been once this year I went to the masters in London in January and I loved it it was my first time watching snooker there but after I went to the welsh open last year I Knew I had to go again so I booked the tickets to go watch judd trump. Now it's a four hour drive from where I am so we only just made it to Wales on time and then of course judd had to kill the match off in an hour and ten minutes yes all that way for an hour luckily we had chance to meet judd and get our tickets signed then the four hour journey home :) promise no more snooker talk until the world championships :)
So apart for that of course I have been shopping and its been valentines day so I got some lovely gifts and has I haven't filmed any of these yet I will give you a sneaky peek.
And as I always mention my laptop is nearing death I swear I hear it sigh every time I turn it on, so I have started the search for my new BFF I decided no more windows I'm going mac mac I'm leaning to MacBook Pro so if you have any ideas or have any advice you would love to share I would be grateful. I'm pretty much surviving using my iphone and iPad which is great but I need my laptop.
